  6. HTML ColorSelect is a simple application in which you can open a PICT file and select a single pixel color.  It then displays the hexadecimal value for it*.  You can also use the color wheel picker to select a color.  The shareware of US$5 is optional-- if you are a student (like me) and on a limited budget, send me a postcard instead.

  8. Things you might want to know:

  10. --The PICT file opens at a fixed width and height: in other words your image will be scaled.
  11.  
  12. --You can only open one PICT file at a time; to open another PICT file, just select 'Open' from the File menu.
  13.  
  14. --The dialog box cannot be moved ... I'm working on this.
  15.  
  16. --The 'arrow' cursor doesn't change into the 'dropper' cursor.

  19. Things I plan to work on:
  20. --Have a resizeable window for the image.
  21. --Ability to open various image file types.
  22. --Get a life.
